Frequently asked questions

Who can attend DevFest Mumbai?: Anyone who writes code, watches code, screams at bugs, or secretly worships Claude Code is welcome.
How does registration work?: Apply. We pick names randomly. You either get in or don't. Easy. Fair. Mildly terrifying. To keep DevFest fair for everyone, selection is completely random - yes, even more random than a Mumbai local train schedule. No favoritism. No bribes. Signing up first doesn't matter. Flattering us doesn't work.
When will I know if I got selected?: November 30th - check your inbox, pray, and maybe do a little dance if you get lucky.
What's the food situation?: Food will be available. Whether you get it without a queue… that's your problem.
Can I attend if I came last year?: Yes. Maybe. Selection is totally random. No favoritism, no grudges, just pure probability deciding your fate.
What will I actually see at DevFest?: Talks, workshops, masterclasses, nonprofits, networking, and people pretending they understand each other. Basically… fun.
Can I survive DevFest Mumbai without losing my mind?: Maybe. Possibly. Probably. But don't worry, mild existential crises are included for free.
What if I have zero idea what's happening?: Perfect. You'll fit right in. Half the fun is pretending you know what's happening while nodding enthusiastically.
